after the first supper at jurong west with ceasar, helen and edvan, we headed down to bukit timah to meet zhenlong who was there alone with his china-nese girl.

sat there for more drinks and chatted till 1am before leaving.

had a long conversation with ceasar just before driving off about tracking in sepang and how everything works.

he gave me quite a bit of advice and i guess i’ve made up my mind now…

i’ll go to the tracks at sepang this coming febrary!

i was so pissed off during the badminton session that xian ci and i just walked off without playing any game…

and this was what happened.

weixiang has already booked the court but there were only the 3 of us playing so they told me to try and get more people to join in.

i managed to get 3 more people to come along but they didn’t know the way so i had to drive to their place and guide them down.

i rushed back to sentosa, practially 1/2 jogging and 1/2 hopping, to pick xian ci up and then sped down to where my friends were to guide them down.

there was a girl amount them and it’s natural for girls to take a longer time to get ready. it was already close to 7.45pm when we finally set off.

out of the 2 vehicles following me, there was a brand new evo-x that was still running in which means he won’t be able to drive any faster than 85km/hr.

when we got finally got there and parked their cars, my friends wanted to get some drinks and snacks first so xian ci and i went ahead first to the courts.

upon reaching the court, weixiang, who was already playing with some guys from the other group, gave us a middle finger and had a super black face on.

okay, we know he is pissed off for being late but we figured he’ll be okay once we told him why we were late…

but no!

after the current set that he was playing, the current players wanted to play a 2nd round so one of the other guys asked us if we’re okay with it…

but before we could even say anything, weixiang had to super piss us off by saying loudly “the court i book, the shuttlecocks i buy, the net i bring”.

what the fuck is your problem?

we pay him after each session for sharing the court and the shuttlecocks and i think we usually pay more than what we use so what is it about the shuttlecocks being yours?

when we first started playing, i was the one with the net and shuttlecocks and did i even once, charge you for the shuttlecocks?  no i paid everything myself, from the courts to the shuttlecocks to the occasional drinks for everyone.

you were the one who wanted to buy a new net even thought i already have one

and now you’re fucking saying such things just because we were late for getting more people to come?

i’ve enough money myself to book my own courts, buy my own shuttlecocks and net and i’ve enough friends to play badminton with.

we don’t need a person like you!

you are neither our leader nor the one who started this, who are you to act as if you’re above us!

now i finally understand why your own friends tell me you have attitude problem, i even stood up for you then but now i understand them perfectly.

i got so pissed i wanted to walk off there and then but i thought xian ci wouldn’t mind so i beared with it for the moment until i saw ci’s face was bright red.

he asked if we wanted to go and i didn’t even need a second more to think, i just zipped up my badminton bag and we walked off.

thankfully the other 3 were still buying their drinks so we ran up to meet them and gave them a story about the court having a blackout.

they bought the story and we left the place for supper at 651, where the chicken wings there cooled my head a little.

xian ci was still pissed off when i sent him home…

was asked to go sun-tanning at sentosa by ci since he was going down with his cousin and 2 friends. really wanted to go but i promised robin i’ll catch a movie with him just minutes before ci called me.

decided to park at sentosa as it was cheaper than parking at vivocity. paid ci and his friends a visit before taking the skytram to vivocity to meet robin.

managed to get tickets for the movie, bed time stories

wasn’t really expecting much from the movie but it was rather funny and had a few good laughs.

it was already 6.30pm when the movie ended so i bid robin farewell and rushed back to sentosa to meet up with xian ci and the rest.

managed to make it there just 10 minutes before the show started but had to park at the building beside lido.

the show was a no-brainer, fighting and killing all the way but the ending was bad…way bad!

so bad that it completely spoils the whole movie, everyone was cursing and swearing when the lights came out.

since it was a saturday, we decided to go somewhere for supper and have a chat before heading home and of all the places they could choose, they chose jalan kayu…the same place that i came down from…that makes 3 nights in a roll that i’ve been there and that place is certainly nowhere near home.

didn’t want to be a sourpuss so i ended up joining them in the long journey there. they have been talking about a jumbo size mutabak so i was kinda looking forward to it since i skipped my dinner thanks to the late and heavy lunch.

the mutabak turned out to be smaller than what they claimed it was but it tasted good, so good that i won’t mind making another trip down soon just to have it.

chatted a while before finally making my long long long way home…

woke up at around 1pm and started looking for programs for the day.

collin (koh) wanted to go out but had nowhere in mind. we suggested blading at ecp, swimming at sentosa or underwater world at sentosa but i guess we couldn’t come to a conclusion.

ah bai wanted to rent/download some movies and head over to nelson’s house to chill and slack or go lan gaming but i wasn’t in the mood for both.

zhiyuan was going cycling at ecp which was a no no since i can’t cycle and even if i blade with them, i probably won’t be able to catch up.

xian ci and i suggested swimming, sentosa, tennis, badminton, wash car but also couldn’t seem to decide what we wanna do.

after 2 hours of chatting online, i eventually gave in to my tummy and went for lunch with xian ci.

we were both starving since it’s already 3pm and i had this crazy craving for chicken rice and so we ended up at the sengshiong coffeeshop at taman jurong…

that’s 1/2 a chicken, 2 eggs, a plate of chicken kidney and a plate of pig trotter.

we managed to finish off 90% of everything but we were both full like crazy.

we were stuffed to a point we had to sit down and rest a little before walking back to the car. since we both couldn’t move, we decided to spend our time wisely and decide what to do for the rest of the day.

ideas after ideas came up, some were crazy, some were impractical but we finally agreed on something crazy and rather impractical and that’s to have a mini bbq at yishun dam.

xian ci managed to get his female cousin and 2 other friends to come along but since it was still early, we decided to do a little shopping at autobacs first.

bought a visor cd holder to replace the current one. i rather like the current one that i have but it has a major flaw in it, so major that i couldn’t stand it so i decided to change it.

it was about 6pm and our meeting time was at 8pm so we headed to the ntuc at bukit panjang plaza only to realise that they don’t have the portable use-1-time bbq pit that we were looking for. it was too late to return back to jurong to get it so we ended up just buying some drinks and snacks.

picked ci’s cousin from yishun mrt before heading down to yishun dam…i don’t really know why they call it yishun dam since it’s actually separating seletar reservoir and the sea, shouldn’t it be called seletar dam?

and i’m not even sure if it’s a dam, it’s just a plot of long land that divides fresh water and salt water.

anyway, had a really good time there just chatting, munching on snacks and playing a little card games. zixiang had a high tide and we had to block him off at the railing for him to pee but he pee-ed so loudly that people started to turn their heads.

played around till 11pm before making a move. we probably could have stayed longer if there are toilets around and also for the fact that zhiyuan has booked my ticket for a movie at 11.50pm.

dropped them off at jalan kayu and took a quick toilet break before rushing down to orchard to meet the usual car gang.

since it was still early and i was already in the east, i went to meet a couple of friends at eunos.

for certain reasons, i decided not to use their real name…let’s just call them casper & gotyear.

casper was going down to sengkang for a drag race with an old civic so i tagged along to see how it’s done. it was along a stretch of empty road and we waited a little for the civic to arrive.

this is my first time actually seeing a drag race right in front of me and i was to be the starter.

quite exciting okay!

3 horns and they were off, i floored my slow poke renault and tried to catch up but it was impossible. casper won the drag anyway.

quickly turned out to another road and headed somewhere else in case someone called the police. stopped for a while to say good bye to the civic and went down to jalan kayu for supper.

since it was a friday and we were already so far, we decided to chill out a little at yishun dam. it has been years since i was last there and i think i’m falling with the place again. it was super windy and a very nice place to chill, the only downside was that there were no toilets nearby.

chatted for a little before making the long trip back home.

went for a late dinner with some classmates from hong kah secondary and discussed a little about vincent’s wedding plans in june. he has been talking about it but we always thought he was just playing around so didn’t really take him seriously.

we made a reservation at mind’s cafe at 10pm but we were still in jurong then so decided to change the timing to 10.30pm. rushed down in 2 cars but the place was full when we got there and had to wait 10 minutes before we finally got a place.

and we played bang…

a game introduced years ago by my cousin, we, the younger generation of the family have been playing it during chinese new year gathering. and after introducing to my friends since the first time we were at mind’s cafe, we are more or less addicted to it.

played till around 12mn before rushing down to east coast park while the others played on. was supposed to meet up with zhiyuan and the usual car gang at 11.30pm and i was freaking late.

it was actually at the location where the big splash once stood proudly as one of singapore’s attraction but it’s now more of a holland village or demsy kinda place.

i’ve actually never been to the big splash when i was a kid…probably cause i was terrified of heights then.

couldn’t stay there for long as the place was closing and everyone was tired already so they decided to head for home.

1st day of work for the new year…and i overslept till 10.30am.

rushed down to office and act blur, hopefully no one will question me.

i think i’m still in the holiday mood, will probably need sometime to adjust back.

left office during lunch with charlie and went down to sim lim square after a quick lunch at jurong east.

i guess charlie, like me, wasn’t in the mood to work so we gave some excuse to leave office early.

was supposed to buy a battery for a laptop but found out that it wasn’t the battery problem so didn’t get the battery. was rather pissed with charlie and kelvin cause i told them to check many times and they kept telling me it was a battery problem.

also bought a laptop for mr leong. he wanted to get a new laptop for his staff in vietnam but trond kinda refused him so i became the scrap goat.

was about the leave the place when aaron reminded me to get a micro sd card for my nephew’s nitendo ds. also bought myself a 8gb sdcard for my car but it didn’t seem to work so i used it for my camera.

sent charlie back and went home for a rest.

charlie’s friend aka housemate is flying back to vietnam so i offered to send him to the airport. had a quick lunch at the airport before sending him off.

he’s actually going back for only a few days to visit his family, he’ll be back in less than a week.

since charlie and i had the whole day free, i drove down to my sound garage to get my sound system tuned again, there was something wrong with the subwoofer when i play cds.

ah yap, one of my car gang people, was there as well to tune his sound system. wanted to fix up my fog lights but the stock hasn’t arrive yet.

sent charlie back after that and went back home…

boring way to start off a new year.
